District Three Alderwoman Linda Wilder-Bryan will host a town hall meeting to discuss the upcoming addition of a gymnasium at the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center (PARC) in Savannah. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at PARC.

The City Council had approved a $425,500 contract with Hussey Gay Bell on September 12, 2024, for design services related to this project. The new facility will feature a gymnasium, locker rooms, an office, storage space, public restrooms, and a lobby.

Alderwoman Wilder-Bryan expressed her satisfaction with the project’s progress: “For over 30 years, the 3rd District has been promised a gym, and here we are —the promises fulfilled.”

The town hall aims to provide residents with detailed information about the project and offers an opportunity for questions and interaction with City staff.
