U.S. Representative Buddy Carter, who has consistently secured re-election in Georgia since 2014, recently addressed a range of issues on his social media account, including hurricane preparedness, economic policy, and antisemitism.

On August 19, 2025, Carter posted a public safety message as the hurricane season intensified: “As the 2025 hurricane season heats up, make sure to:

Update your emergency kit
Know your evacuation routes
Have a family communication plan

Don’t wait until disaster strikes – start today!”

The following day, Carter referenced legislative action aimed at Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. On August 20, he wrote: “This is why I introduced the TOO LATE Act to protect the American people from Jerome “Too Late” Powell’s disastrous impacts on our economy. @realDonaldTrump https://t.co/vbYY7SE8gl”

Later that same day, Carter commented on what he described as rising antisemitism within political discourse: “Absolutely disgusting behavior. These individuals hide behind ‘support for Palestinians,’ but their true colors are clear: vile antisemitism. This hate has been normalized by the Democrat Party’s pro-Hamas caucus, with radicals intent on spreading division and violence.

I fully”

Buddy Carter has represented Georgia in Congress since winning his first election in 2014 against Brian Reese with nearly 61% of the vote. He continued to secure victories over subsequent challengers—Lisa Ring in 2018 (57.8%), Joyce Griggs in 2020 (58.35%), Wade Herring in 2022 (59.15%), and Patti Hewitt in 2024 (62%)—demonstrating consistent electoral support throughout his tenure.
