In the most recent general election of 2024, he defeated Patti Hewitt with approximately 62% of the vote compared to Hewitt’s 38%. His electoral history includes victories over Wade Herring in 2022 (59.15% to 40.85%), Joyce Griggs in 2020 (58.35% to 41.65%), Lisa Ring in 2018 (57.8% to 42.2%), and Brian Reese in 2014 (60.9% to 39.1%).
