Buddy Carter, U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 1st congressional district, shared a series of posts on November 6, 2025, addressing national healthcare policy and political developments in New York.

In his first post at 18:05 UTC, Carter stated, “.@realDonaldTrump is LOWERING anti-obesity medication prices for patients to Make America Healthy Again. No longer will we pay UNREASONABLE prices while other countries pay a FRACTION! #MAHA”.

Three minutes later, Carter commented on state-level politics in New York, writing, “Since New Yorkers voted for COMMUNISM, the federal government should NOT bail them out. Don’t come crying to @realDonaldTrump when this “experiment” FAILS.”

Later that evening at 19:08 UTC, he referenced two Democratic politicians by name: “Jon Ossoff and Zohran Mamdani read from the same playbook, united by their hatred of President Trump and loyalty to the far-left base.”

Carter has held his seat since winning the general election in 2014 against Brian Reese with approximately 61% of the vote. He has consistently secured re-election in subsequent cycles: defeating Lisa Ring in 2018 with nearly 58%, Joyce Griggs in 2020 with over 58%, Wade Herring in 2022 with about 59%, and most recently Patti Hewitt in 2024 with around 62%.
