Buddy Carter, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 1st district since 2015, has recently expressed his views on several significant issues through social media posts. His statements cover topics ranging from government accountability to healthcare awareness and political support.

On June 5, 2025, Buddy Carter voiced his agreement with President Biden regarding the necessity for a comprehensive investigation into what he describes as a “Biden coverup.” He stated, “I agree with @POTUS – we must have a FULL INVESTIGATION into the Biden coverup.” Carter mentioned introducing legislation to establish a Select Committee aimed at examining President Biden’s cognitive and physical health decline.

Later that day, Carter acknowledged June as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. He tweeted about the importance of supporting those affected by these diseases: “June is #AlzheimersandBrainAwareness Month, a time to honor those battling these diseases and to renew our commitment to finding a cure.” He emphasized the need for continued support for patients, caregivers, and research efforts.

In another post on June 5th, Carter expressed his backing for former President Donald Trump. He highlighted his support for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act which aims to fulfill Trump’s promises by preventing tax hikes, securing borders, and promoting American energy independence. He declared: “.@realDonaldTrump won a historic mandate because he delivers.”

Buddy Carter was born in Port Wentworth, Georgia in 1957 and currently resides in Pooler. Before serving in Congress, he was part of the Georgia House of Representatives from 2005 to 2009 and served in the Georgia Senate from 2009 to 2014.
