Known for his previous service in the Georgia House of Representatives and Senate, Carter continues to be an active voice in Congress.

On July 8, 2025, Buddy Carter expressed optimism about the current state of America by stating “Welcome to the Golden Age. We’re on a roll, America! “. This tweet suggests a positive outlook on the nation’s progress.

The following day, July 9, Carter addressed recent violence against federal agents with strong condemnation. He tweeted “I’m shocked at the sickening acts of violence against Federal ICE agents in Alvarado, Texas. This RADICAL behavior is UNACCEPTABLE!”.

Later that same day, he emphasized the importance of technological advancement by advocating for blockchain technology. He stated “Blockchain technology is the future of the world’s economy. Congress must continue to pass legislation to innovate and invest in blockchain technology!”.

Buddy Carter was born in Port Wentworth, Georgia in 1957 and currently resides in Pooler. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980.
