Buddy Carter, U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s First District, shared a series of posts on his social media account highlighting professional achievements and political positions.

On August 20, 2025, Carter congratulated a colleague for their service: “After 30 years in business and now in my sixth term in Congress, I’ve learned one key to success: surround yourself with good people and let them go at it. Congratulations, Chris Crawford, on this well-deserved achievement. Your service to Georgia’s First District is exemplary,” he wrote.

The following day, August 21, Carter expressed support for national leadership: “American prosperity is BACK thanks to the leadership of @VP and @realDonaldTrump “.

Later that same day, Carter commented on his personal background and current political stance: “I’ve worked for everything I’ve got. Jon Ossoff wants to make it harder for Georgians to live the American Dream like me. I’m fighting alongside President Trump to HELP working families. #MAGA”.

Carter has maintained a strong electoral record over multiple election cycles. In 2024, he defeated Patti Hewitt with 62% of the vote; in previous elections since 2014 he has consistently won by significant margins against Democratic challengers including Wade Herring (2022), Joyce Griggs (2020), Lisa Ring (2018), and Brian Reese (2014).
