Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) has introduced the Veterans Health Care Stamp Act of 2025 alongside Reps. Mike Lawler (R-NY), Josh Harder (D-CA), and Jason Crow (D-CO). The bill proposes that the United States Postal Service issue a stamp to fund medical care for veterans.

The proceeds from each stamp sold will be directed to an account within the Department of Veterans Affairs, offering a way for the public to support veteran health services.

“This common-sense legislation will provide additional support to our heroic veteran community for the sacrifices they have made in defense of our country,” said Rep. Carter. “With this bill, we will increase the quality, accessibility, and affordability of health care for our nation’s veterans, fulfilling our promise to defend them as fully as they defended us.”

Rep. Crow added, “I served as an Army Ranger in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a veteran, caring for our veterans is personal to me. I’m proud to introduce this bipartisan legislation to help support the VA health system and provide better care for those who have served our country.”
