Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter, a Republican from Georgia, has introduced a bill to form a Select Committee aimed at investigating allegations of a cover-up concerning former President Biden’s cognitive and physical health decline during his time in office.

The proposed bipartisan committee would be tasked with preparing a report for Congress. This report would address claims about President Biden’s health and any possible efforts to hide information from the public.

“This is potentially the biggest political scandal of our lifetime, and the American people deserve to know the truth about who was really running the White House under Biden’s tenure as president,” stated Rep. Carter. He added, “From using the autopen to pardon his own family members to likely concealing a cancer diagnosis, our government must restore trust with the public by fully investigating the former administration’s lies and getting to the bottom of one of the most consequential coverups in history.”

The original cosponsors supporting this initiative include Representatives Mark Alford (R-MO), John Rose (R-TN), Derrick Van Orden (R-WI), and Barry Moore (R-AL).

For those interested, further details can be found in the full text of the bill.
