Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter has introduced a House Resolution condemning recent riots in Los Angeles targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The resolution expresses the House of Representatives’ strong opposition to violent clashes between illegal immigrants and federal law enforcement, which resulted in significant disruption in Los Angeles.

The situation necessitated the deployment of the National Guard and Marine Corps to restore order. Rep. Carter emphasized the importance of supporting law enforcement, stating, “It is our duty in the House of Representatives to send a clear message to those who harm our local and federal law enforcement: You have no place here.”

Carter further highlighted disturbing images from the riots, showing foreign nationals harming officers while waving flags of other countries. He stated that Congress must make its stance clear by backing law enforcement officers and defending cities from such incidents.
