The Chatham County Hospital Authority (CCHA) Trust has opened the application process for its 2026 grant cycle. This initiative offers a $2 million funding opportunity aimed at supporting organizations that provide preventative health care services to the indigent population of Chatham County. Both nonprofit and for-profit entities can apply, with individual requests limited to $250,000.

The funding will prioritize services in several key areas: behavioral and mental health, health screenings, dental hygiene care, and specialty care services such as diabetes management.

Applicants must submit Letters of Intent by July 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST. Those selected will be invited to submit full applications by September 12, 2025. Final decisions are expected in November 2025, with funds being distributed throughout the year 2026.

For more information on eligibility or to submit an application, interested parties can contact Jennifer Davenport via email.
