Congressman Rick W. Allen of Georgia’s 12th District has announced the opening of applications for his office’s 2025 Fall Internship Program in Washington, D.C. The program targets college students and young professionals eager to learn about legislative processes and contribute to congressional office tasks.
Interns will engage in various activities such as constituent outreach and legislative writing, with an option to earn school credit. The internship runs from August to December 2025, with specific dates determined during interviews. Applications are due by July 7, 2025, through Congressman Allen’s website.
Congressman Allen emphasized the value of the experience: “Working in a congressional office provides a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience into how our government operates and network with individuals from all walks of life. In our office, we employ a bottom-up approach to empower others to be the best they can be. Many of our past interns have used the skills gained during their internships to transition into a variety of successful career paths.”
