Former South Effingham High School standout Alex Brown played on Friday, May 23 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Friday, May 23, former South Effingham High School standout Alex Brown’s current collegiate team the Clemson Tigers lost 5-7 against the Texas Longhorns in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field at 8 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Texas Longhorns in the tournament.

The Clemson Tigers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 24 at 8 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field.
