Former South Effingham High School standout Jaden Burns played on Saturday, May 10 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 10, former South Effingham High School standout Jaden Burns’ current collegiate team the Wingate Bulldogs lost 0-7 against the Francis Marion Patriots in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium at 1 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Francis Marion Patriots in the tournament.

The Wingate Bulldogs’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium.
