How many H-1B petitions made by employers classified under the Manufacturing industry were approved in Savannah Standard publication area during 2024?

In 2024, 51 of the 52 H-1B petitions submitted by employers classified under the Manufacturing industry located across Savannah Standard publication area were approved, according to data provided by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub.

This represents an approval rate of 98.1%, which is higher than the average in Georgia across all industries.

That year, the statewide average approval rate for H-1B petitions stood at 96.3%, slightly higher than 2023’s 94.9%. Across the publication area, employers across all industries submitted 289 petitions during the same period, with an approval rate of 96.2%.

For comparison, the U.S. reported an average approval rate of 98% in 2024.

While the Educational Services industry led the H-1B filings with 182 petitions, representing 63% of all submissions in Savannah Standard publication area during 2024, the next largest contributor was the Manufacturing industry, which accounted for 52 petitions and represented 18% of the total. Among petitions from employers in the Manufacturing industry, 98.1% were approved and 1.9% were denied.

The employers in the Manufacturing sector in Savannah Standard publication area included Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation with 34 petitions, Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, and Strength of Nature, LLC with three petitions each during 2024.
