Leadership Southeast Georgia (LSEGA) has opened nominations for its Class of 2026. The organization is seeking civic, nonprofit, and business leaders from the 10-county Southeast Georgia region to join the upcoming class. Applications are due by August 23.

“We’re looking for visionary leaders, innovative thinkers, and dedicated community builders—individuals who are not only successful in their fields but also deeply committed to the future prosperity and well-being of Southeast Georgia,” LSEGA stated. “Your nominations are crucial in ensuring we continue cultivating a dynamic regional leadership network.”

Potential candidates can self-nominate or be nominated by Leadership Southeast Georgia alumni or other regional leaders. Selection will be made through a competitive process conducted by members of the LSEGA Board of Directors.

Letters of support may accompany nominations or applications. Up to thirty individuals will be selected each year based on several criteria:

Applicants must reside or work in the county they apply to; show commitment to serving the community; demonstrate professional growth qualities; express interest in learning about Southeast Georgia; participate fully in sessions and projects with employer support; exhibit teachability; follow application deadlines; and submit thoughtful applications.

“Please take a moment to consider the outstanding leaders within your network who are ready to make an even greater difference,” LSEGA encouraged. Nominations can be submitted via their website.
