Lehman Franklin, a Republican elected to the Georgia State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 160th House District, recently shared updates on community events and initiatives through his social media posts.
On October 30, 2025, Franklin invited constituents to a local event, stating, “Today’s the day! Hope to see everyone at 4 PM! Donations aren’t required to attend – so come on out, enjoy the cars, and say hello!”
The following day, Franklin reflected on his participation in an event focused on domestic violence awareness. On October 31, he posted: “Honored to attend a luncheon yesterday hosted by Safe Haven in observance of Domestic Violence awareness Month. I encourage everyone to look into this organization and learn how to support its mission at https://t.co/okdBcfDZFV”
Later that same day, Franklin commented on progress for local emergency services infrastructure. He wrote: “Great day in Statesboro yesterday with the groundbreaking of Fire Station No. 3! This project has been a long time coming, and it’s exciting to see it moving forward. Grateful to all the local leaders and first responders who helped make this possible!”
Franklin succeeded Jan Tankersley as representative for Georgia’s 160th House District after winning election in 2023.
