Lehman Franklin, a Republican representing Georgia’s 160th House District since 2023, recently shared updates on community developments and events through his social media posts.
On October 31, 2025, Franklin highlighted a milestone for local emergency services: “It’s been 25 years since the city has opened a new fire station. This much-needed project will be great for our growing community!”
The following day, November 1, Franklin posted about participating in an event supporting local food security efforts. He stated: “Was honored to take part in the ribbon cutting for phase II of the Statesboro Food Bank yesterday! This expansion means even more families will have access to the support and resources they need. Grateful for everyone who made this mission possible!”
Later that same day, Franklin commented on a recent community gathering centered around classic cars: “We had a great time the other day at our classic car show event with several of my House colleagues! Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a success. Big congratulations to Ricky and Jo Ann McCullough for taking home the Best of Show Award – and a huge thanks to”
Franklin assumed office after being elected in 2023 to represent Georgia’s 160th House District, succeeding Jan Tankersley.
