On Saturday, May 3, former South Effingham High School standout Jaden Burns’ current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.

The game took place at Wingate Softball Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Bears this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 8 at 6 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium against Flagler Saints.
