The U.S. Army and the City of Savannah are organizing the 2025 Patriots Day 5K Run to honor the heroes of September 11, 2001. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, at 8:00 a.m. in Forsyth Park.

Participants will follow a route that passes through notable areas of Savannah, including its squares and riverfront. Those who take part will receive a race shirt, finisher medal, and refreshments provided by local vendors. The event also offers water stations and medical support along the course.

A ceremony after the race will feature a keynote address from a U.S. Army veteran. Registration is available online until August 15.
