State Representative Carl Gilliard will host a lunch and learn event featuring Commissioner Kevin Tanner of the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) as the keynote speaker. The event is scheduled for Monday, June 16, 2025, at noon at the Southwest Chatham Library in Savannah.

Commissioner Tanner will discuss the current state of behavioral health in Georgia. His presentation will include information on resources available to residents of Chatham County and guidance on accessing crisis support services. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about job opportunities in the field of behavioral health.

Rep. Gilliard has extended an invitation to service providers, organization presidents, pastors, and caretakers to participate in this informative session.
