State Representative Jordan Ridley from Woodstock has been appointed to the House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Georgia’s Medical Marijuana and Hemp Policies by House Speaker Jon Burns. The committee is tasked with examining and evaluating existing and proposed medical marijuana and hemp policies in Georgia.

Rep. Ridley emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach, stating, “It is vital that we take a comprehensive approach to studying both existing and proposed medical marijuana and hemp policies in our state.” He highlighted the need for transparent laws to ensure safety for distributors and consumers as new products are developed.
