Rick W. Allen, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 12th district since 2015, shared his insights and updates on various national issues through recent social media posts. Allen, who succeeded John Barrow in 2015, has been active in discussions surrounding national security and legislative developments.

On May 21, 2025, Allen participated in an “informative discussion today in the @HouseCommerce Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee on the need to enhance our domestic critical mineral supply chains.” He emphasized that “it is a matter of national and economic security that the U.S. be a leader in the critical mineral economy.”

The following day, May 22, he announced significant legislative progress with a post stating “BREAKING: The House just passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” He noted that “@HouseGOP has delivered @POTUS’ America First agenda for the American people by: Providing resources to secure the border Making a generational investment in America’s defense Bolstering domestic energy.”

Later on May 22, Allen expressed condolences regarding a tragic incident involving Israeli embassy staff members. In his message, he stated “Robin and I are praying for the families and loved ones of the two Israeli embassy staff members who were tragically killed last night during an event at the Capital Jewish Museum.” He condemned “this antisemitic-fueled violence,” asserting it “has absolutely no place in America.”
