Rick W. Allen, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia’s 12th district since 2015, has been active in addressing pressing issues facing the nation through his recent communications on social media.

In a post dated June 6, 2025, Allen commemorated the historical significance of D-Day by remembering “the Allied troops and brave souls who stormed the beaches of Normandy to fight Nazi Germany and liberate Europe.” He emphasized that their bravery and sacrifice were pivotal in defending freedoms here.

Later on June 6, Allen addressed economic challenges faced by domestic LSPTV producers in his district due to competition from Chinese imports. This initiative underscores his commitment to protecting local industries from unfair trade practices.
