On April 15, 2026, Allen stated: “This year, the average taxpayer in Georgia will see a tax cut of over $3,000! @HouseGOP is delivering REAL savings and REAL results for Georgia families.”

Later that day, he posted about former Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue: “Robin and I wish former Georgia Governor, Sonny Perdue, all the best in his retirement and next chapter of life. Sonny has spent the last four decades proudly serving Georgians and the American people in numerous roles, most recently as Chancellor of the University System of”.

On April 16, Allen discussed health care legislation: “The PBM Kickback Prohibition Act—a signature component of @POTUS’ Great Healthcare Plan—would rein in PBMs by ending kickbacks that deceptively raise the cost of health insurance for patients, workers, and families.”

Allen has been active in public service through involvement with Trinity on the Hill Global Methodist Church as well as local business and civic organizations. He founded a construction company that contributed to economic development in Georgia communities. Raised in a farming family and married for over 50 years with four children and fourteen grandchildren, Allen was first elected to Congress in 2014 after graduating from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in building construction.
