Savannah Area Chamber announces ribbon cuttings and grand openings for fall season

The Town of Thunderbolt marked the reopening of W.E. Honey Park on August 27, following renovations that included a redesigned playground and updated picnic area. The event took place at 2450 Mechanics Avenue, with Mayor Dana Williams and the Thunderbolt Town Council leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The park’s riverside location was highlighted as an important asset for local residents and visitors.

Several upcoming ribbon-cutting events are scheduled in the region:

Sand Cat Coffee will open its new Tybee Island location at 602 1st Street on September 5, offering free drip coffee throughout the day, $3 ice cream scoops, and discounts on food and drinks between 10 AM and 2 PM.

Boho Hair & Color Salon is set to celebrate its grand opening at 1102 Bradley Blvd, Unit A in Savannah on September 6. The salon specializes in modern styles, coloring services, extensions, and smoothing treatments.

Lowcountry Male Clinic & AquaVitae iVitality Spa will hold a ribbon-cutting at their new clinic at 343 Commercial Dr in Savannah’s Southside medical district on September 10. This marks an expansion from their seven locations across South Carolina into Georgia, bringing hormone therapy, weight loss programs, anti-aging solutions, wellness treatments, renovated facilities, and in-house lab services to local patients.

Young Office Savannah will launch its showroom at Eastern Wharf (300 Passage Way) on September 10. The space features workplace design solutions including ergonomic furniture and modular walls. Other upcoming openings include Blessingdales Thrift Store benefiting The Living Vine Maternity Home (September 17), The Edit boutique at Plant Riverside District (September 18), Visiting Angels of Savannah’s new office (September 18), as well as events for The Malin Savannah (September 30), Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Georgia (October 3), The Habersham School (October 7), Fitness on Broughton (October 10), IV Savannah (October 16), Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center (October 18), and Hearth Hospice (October 30).

These events highlight ongoing business activity and community development efforts within the greater Savannah area.
