The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce has designated August as Trustees Appreciation Month, expressing gratitude to the Trustees Council for its leadership and contributions. The Council consists of various companies and their leaders who provide strategic guidance and support to the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

According to the Chamber, “The Trustees Council is comprised of companies and their leadership. It offers valuable strategic guidance and enhances the work of our Board of Directors. Their extensive knowledge, experience, and unique perspectives help strengthen the Chamber and the Savannah business community.”

Throughout August, individual Trustees who demonstrate a strong commitment to service and community stewardship will be highlighted by the organization. The Chamber states, “Their dedication sets the standard for business leadership in our region.”

A message from the Chamber adds: “On behalf of all our members, thank you for your partnership. Your commitment is invaluable, and we appreciate all you do to elevate business in Savannah.”

This week’s recognition includes several organizations such as St. Joseph’s/Candler – St. Joseph’s Hospital, StayInSavannah.com, Sunrise Restaurant-Tybee, Telfair Academy, The Alida Hotel, The DeSoto Savannah, The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, Thomas & Hutton, Thompson Savannah, Truist, Turner Food & Spirits Company, U.S. Sugar Savannah Refinery LLC., Uniti Fiber, USI Insurance Services LLC., Vaden Automotive, VyStar Credit Union, Wells Fargo Bank, Wet Willie’s-River Street as well as media outlets WJCL 22 | Hearst Television, WSAV Television and WTOC Television.

The Chamber continues its appreciation efforts throughout August by recognizing businesses that play a significant role in supporting economic growth in Savannah.
