The Savannah Area Chamber’s Industry Council recently organized a lunch-and-learn session at Savannah Technical College. This event, conducted in collaboration with Greater Georgia, was part of a statewide tour. The primary focus was to educate members about the tort reform package passed by the Georgia General Assembly and its potential effects on regional businesses.

State Senator Ben Watson and State Representative Carl Gilliard attended the event, providing their insights. Additionally, Representative James Burchett participated in the discussion.

The Chamber emphasized the importance of staying engaged with such events as they play a crucial role in shaping a stronger future for businesses in Georgia.
