Last week, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a post-legislative session discussion featuring Nancy Palmer, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs, and Tiffany Holmes, Deputy Director of the Foundation at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. The event gathered chamber members and community partners to discuss significant legislative topics.

The discussion focused on Senate Bills 68 and 69 concerning tort reform, anticipated income tax cuts, and changes to military retirement taxes. Participants also evaluated the performance of the local delegation. A full scorecard from the Georgia Chamber will be released at a later date.

The meeting also addressed potential legislative goals and initiatives for the upcoming 2026 session.
