August marks Chamber Trustees Appreciation Month, during which the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce expresses gratitude to its Trustees Council for their ongoing leadership.

The Trustees Council was established to provide additional strategic guidance. It brings together corporate CEOs and senior executives whose expertise supports the Chamber’s mission alongside the Board of Directors.

Throughout August, the Chamber will highlight Trustees who demonstrate service and commitment to the community. The organization stated, “On behalf of our members, thank you for your partnership and raising the standard of business leadership in Savannah.”

This week, the Chamber recognizes several organizations for their contributions as part of the Trustees Council. These include Amazon, Ameris Bank, AT&T Georgia, Atlanta Gas Light Company, Bank of America, Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront, Bouhan Falligant, Brasseler USA, Cadence Bank, Chatham Steel Corporation, Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Colonial Group Inc., Comcast Communications, Courtyard by Marriott Savannah Downtown Historic District, DeSoto Beach Hotel – Oceanfront, DoubleTree by Hilton Savannah Historic District, Effingham Health System, Elite Savannah Travel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic District, Enmarket Arena, First Chatham Bank, GAF Materials Corp., Georgia Ports Authority, Georgia Power Company, Georgia Southern University and Great Dane Trailers.

The Chamber plans to continue spotlighting trustees throughout the month to recognize their engagement and stewardship.
