Several Savannah businesses and organizations are preparing to open new locations or celebrate milestones with ribbon-cutting ceremonies in the coming weeks. The events, organized in part by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce’s Ribbon Cutting Taskforce, invite community members to attend and support local enterprises.

The Vault: A Goodwill Boutique will hold its grand opening on Friday, August 22 at 800 Habersham Street. The event begins at 8:30 AM, with a ceremony at 8:45 AM. Early shoppers will receive a free custom Goodwill reusable bag while supplies last. Purchases and donations will help fund job training and career services provided by Goodwill Southeast Georgia. According to the organization, over 4,800 individuals received support through Opportunity Centers in 2024, with 614 placed into sustainable employment.

Café Crepes Square is set for its ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 2 at 11 AM at 1504 Bull Street. Attendees can sample sweet and savory crepes as well as coffee and tea during the celebration.

Other upcoming openings include Sand Cat Coffee on Tybee Island (September 5), Boho Hair & Color Salon (September 6), Young Office Savannah’s showroom (September 10), Savannah Sunset Market – Eastern Wharf (September 11), Blessingdales Thrift Store benefiting The Living Vine Maternity Home (September 17), The Edit at Plant Riverside District (September 18), Visiting Angels of Savannah (September 18), The Malin Savannah (September 30), Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Georgia (October 3), The Habersham School (October 7), and Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center (October 18).

Young Office Savannah’s launch event will take place at Eastern Wharf on September 10 from 4 PM to 7 PM. Guests can tour the new showroom designed for workplace, education, hospitality, and healthcare environments.
