A group of 78 community and business leaders from Savannah traveled to Nashville as part of the Savannah Chamber’s LEADS (Learn, Engage, Advance, Develop, Succeed) Trip series in 2025. The three-day event aimed to provide participants with exposure to innovative ideas and best practices that could be applied in Savannah.

The delegation focused on issues such as housing, transportation, childcare, redevelopment of industrial areas, and tourism. During their visit, they heard from Nashville’s political leaders, community activists, and policy experts who offered practical perspectives relevant to challenges faced in the Savannah region.

In addition to educational sessions, the trip provided opportunities for networking among members of Savannah’s leadership community. At the end of the visit, it was announced that the next LEADS trip in 2026 will take place in New Orleans.

Georgia Power, Gulfstream, and HCA sponsored this year’s trip.
