Please support fellow Chamber members by attending upcoming ribbon-cutting and grand opening events, and join in congratulating recent celebrations.

The Chapel by the Sea, previously known as Tybee Island Wedding Chapel, celebrated its grand opening on July 12th. The venue at 1114 US-80 showcased its new look to a lively crowd. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours of the renovated space, and local wedding vendors. Guests enjoyed entertainment, food, drinks, and activities. “The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates The Chapel by the Sea on its transformation and successful grand opening,” marking a new chapter for this Tybee Island landmark.

Waterside at Rice Hope will host a ribbon cutting on July 17th from 3 PM to 6 PM at Waterside at Rice Hope Clubhouse in Port Wentworth. ARK Homes For Rent is celebrating the acquisition of Waterside at Rice Hope as part of its expansion in Georgia. The community offers townhomes with modern amenities and access to outdoor activities like kayaking and fishing.

Chopt Creative Salad Company is set to open its first Savannah location on July 18th at Abercorn Walk. The celebration includes a ribbon cutting, giveaways, free samples, exclusive merchandise, and more.

iCport Savannah will celebrate its grand opening on July 23rd at Kim’s Café Midtown. iCport Savannah is dedicated to empowering small businesses and underrepresented voices through media, marketing partnerships, and community-driven events.

Element by Westin will open in Midtown Savannah on July 24th from 3 PM to 6 PM. Attendees can tour the space and meet local business leaders as they welcome this extended stay development to the neighborhood.

Waterleaf at Salt Creek invites attendees to their ribbon cutting on July 31st at Ogeechee Road in Savannah for light bites and community tours.

Wandering Spirits Mobile Bartending celebrates their one-year anniversary with an official ribbon cutting on August 2nd at Capital Collective Apartments Clubhouse with cocktails and music.

The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce highlights support from businesses empowering employees serving on their Ribbon Cutting Taskforce (RCT). Their mission is “to offer direct support to new members celebrating grand openings.” They thank The Current Agency represented by Brooke Moore for sponsorship.
