Last week, Savannah was featured in a live broadcast of Good Morning America from the city’s Waterfront as part of the show’s “50 States, 50 Weeks” tour marking America’s 250th anniversary. The Visit Savannah public relations team worked with producers and host Deborah Roberts to present the city to a national audience.

The program included segments on local sites and organizations such as the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace & Museum, Old Town Trolley Tours, Savannah’s Candy Kitchen, First African Baptist Church, Savannah Riverboat Cruises, and Plant Riverside District.

Savannah was chosen as Georgia’s representative city for this milestone celebration. The event aimed to highlight notable landmarks and stories from each state during the tour.
