Last week, the Chamber of Commerce and Startup Savannah held a discussion on small business and economic development with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. The event addressed the challenges faced by small business owners, including inflation, workforce changes, access to capital, and regulatory shifts.

Secretary Raffensperger shared his perspective as a small business owner. He emphasized that “resilience, innovation, and strategic partnerships can help businesses not only survive but thrive in Savannah’s innovative regional economy.” The roundtable aimed to explore strategies and solutions to assist entrepreneurs in managing volatility and achieving long-term success for the Savannah business community.
