The City of Savannah is set to host a special event, Savannah At Night, on June 25. The purpose is to provide residents with an update on the draft strategic plan known as Savannah GPS: Your Strategic Plan.

Earlier this year, the City Manager’s office organized community meetings and launched an online survey to gather feedback from residents for the city’s first strategic plan since 2017. A draft version of this plan was released earlier in June and can be accessed at savannahga.gov/gps. Residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the draft by June 20.

The Savannah City Council conducted its first public hearing and reading of the plan during a regular meeting held on June 12. The upcoming event will offer an opportunity for city officials to present details of the plan before it goes through a second reading and final adoption by the City Council in their meeting scheduled for June 26.

Savannah At Night will take place at the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center located at 201 Montgomery St., from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
