70 percent of applicants to Savannah College of Art and Design were admitted for fall 2018

At Savannah College of Art and Design, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Savannah enrolled 14,086 students in fall 2018, including 11,508 in undergraduate and 2,578 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

14 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 69 percent are residents of other states. 17 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (54 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 70 percent of the 14,812 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
