The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Earl Leroy Carter, Buddy Carter for Congress, refunded $2,800 to Robert H. Demere Jr. on Feb. 8, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Buddy Carter for Congress has refunded $12,350 total since Sept. 1, 2020.
