Celebrating Black history at Georgia Southern: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., (AKA) was established in 1908 at Howard University by a group of nine students. In 1977, AKA became the first Black sorority chartered at Georgia Southern.
