Alfred Ely Beach High School issued the following announcement on March 8.
The Sickle Cell Association of Savannah, Incorporated is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, counseling, and advocating health care and supportive services to persons and families affected by sickle cell disease.
The Association is offering four (4) $500 scholarships to assist with the academic needs of students diagnosed with sickle cell anemia who has been accepted to a postsecondary school for the 2022-2023 academic year. The awarded funds will be sent to the institution where the applicant is enrolled.
Application packets are available now and must be requested and submitted no later than March 31, 2022. Please refer to the application for all instructions. All returned material must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2022.
