Benedictine Military School Defeated Spalding, 45-6, in the Second Round of the GHSA Class AAAA Football Playoffs Friday Night

Benedictine Military School defeated Spalding, 45-6, in the second round of the GHSA Class AAAA football playoffs Friday night at Memorial Stadium! BC (10-2) led, 21-0, at halftime. Spalding ended its season with a 7-5 record. We had an incredible Cadet Walk before the game and our honorary captains were Beau Headley and Tait Cannon. Headley, a third-grader at Hancock Day School, and Cannon, a third-grader at Savannah Country Day School, were introduced to our football team Friday afternoon. They were presented jerseys and autographed footballs. They also joined our Cadets for the pregame meal and participated in the coin toss before kickoff. Up next: BC will travel to play at Stockbridge (10-2) at 7:30 p.m. Friday (Nov. 25) in the Elite Eight! This is BC’s ninth trip to the state quarterfinals in 10 years under the leadership of BC Football Head Coach Mr. Danny Britt! GO BC!!!
