Congratulations to Benedictine Military School’s rifle team, which opened its 2023 season with a strong win on the road against Southeast Bulloch, 1115 - 977. Our Cadets put together an outstanding performance of personal bests for this early in the season. Senior captain James Thompson led the Cadets with a score of 284. Other qualifying shooters for BC were junior Aidan Rachael (282, PR), sophomore Connor Quintard (276, PR), and juniors Connor Winburn and Law Babbitt, who tied at 273 (PR for each). Although not a qualifying score, a huge shout out to freshman Cooper Winters, who shot a 265 – tremendous performance for his first official rifle match! Up next: BC will play host to Beach at 4 p.m. Thursday in the BC Rifle Range. Go Cadets! Special thanks to Ms. Kate Swann and LTC Stephen Suhr for the photos. #thebc400 #NextLevel
