Of the 294,815 citizens living in Chatham County in 2021, 78.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 232,423 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 110,550 were male, constituting 47.6%, and 121,873 were female, making up 52.4%.
