There were 34,179 students enrolled in Savannah-Chatham County Schools District in the 2022-23 school year, 0.1% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51% of them were male, and 49% were female.

Data also shows that most of the students were Black, representing 57% of the Savannah-Chatham County Schools District's total enrollment.
