Last week, Geoff Freeman, President and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, visited Savannah to meet with the Visit Savannah Board of Directors. During his visit, Freeman discussed the association's main priorities and shared their legislative agenda for 2025.

Freeman expressed appreciation for the hospitality he received in Savannah and praised the city's ongoing development. Reflecting on his experience, he stated: “The growth I’ve witnessed this week, even since my last visit in August 2023, is truly impressive. I always smile when I hear people across the country speaking highly of Savannah because I know every word is true.”
