This week, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah hosted more than 30 participants from the Southeast Georgia Leadership Forum at their headquarters. The annual two-day event gathers over 400 leaders from various sectors, including neighborhoods, non-profits, civic groups, government, and businesses. The forum aims to foster collaboration and leadership development across the region.
Chamber President & CEO Bert Brantley and Visit Savannah President & CEO Joseph Marinelli guided participants through how both organizations contribute to Savannah's business environment and its appeal as a top travel destination. Marinelli also discussed Visit Savannah’s latest marketing initiatives that aim to position the city as a must-visit location for travelers worldwide.
The forum provided an opportunity for emerging and established leaders to gain insight into Savannah’s economic and tourism landscape while fostering connections that strengthen the broader Southeast Georgia community.
