The Warrior Alliance is organizing a Veteran Benefits & Resource Expo at Savannah State University on August 1. The event is aimed at veterans and their families, offering them assistance with PACT Act claims. Attendees will have the chance to engage in one-on-one consultations with accredited Veterans Service Officers (VSOs) for filing new claims, reviewing existing applications, and getting answers from subject-matter experts.

Participants can also connect with representatives from various VA departments and local community organizations. These representatives will provide benefit overviews, eligibility guidance, healthcare referrals, mental health resources, and information on additional support services.

The event aims to streamline the PACT Act claims process while providing vital resources and community connections to enhance well-being. Complimentary refreshments will be available.

Registration is currently open for this free event. It offers an opportunity for veterans to access the benefits they have earned. The expo will take place on Friday, August 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Savannah State University’s Student Union located at 3219 College Street, Savannah, GA 31404. Attendees are advised to bring a valid ID, DD214, and any relevant healthcare documentation.

Some agents may participate virtually during the event.
