The staff of the Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee Information Centers recently participated in a guided tour at the Andrew Low House and Museum. The visit aimed to give team members a deeper understanding of local history, including the architecture of the house and its notable former resident, Juliette Gordon Low, who founded the Girl Scouts of the USA.
According to organizers, even those who had previously toured the landmark gained new insights during this outing. The experience was designed to help staff provide more informed recommendations to visitors.
The field trip also highlighted for participants that Savannah residents have access to significant historical sites on a daily basis. Organizers encouraged locals to consider taking time to explore these attractions themselves.
