Earlier this month, Tanvi Chauhan, the PR Manager for Visit Savannah, attended the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Travel & Tourism Conference in Tampa, Florida. The conference is an annual event that gathers destination marketing professionals from around the country to share insights and build relationships with key media outlets.

At the event, Chauhan engaged with editorial directors from prominent national publications such as USA Today, Travel + Leisure, and Food & Wine. This engagement was aimed at highlighting Savannah’s story, focusing on its cultural history and dynamic culinary and hospitality scene. These efforts are part of Visit Savannah’s strategy to gain national exposure and promote Savannah as a year-round travel destination.

The organization expressed pride in having Savannah represented at the conference and anticipates positive coverage and opportunities resulting from these interactions in the coming months.
