Alfred Ely Beach High School issued the following announcement on March 9.
Submit an online application at www.savannahtech.edu , Admissions, How to Apply, create an account for your application and pay the $25.00 non-refundable fee.
• Talk with your High School Counselor and ask for them to submit an official High School transcript and a letter of On Track to Graduate on school letter head that includes your name and expected date of graduation to aviation@savannahtech.edu . Once you graduate we will need the Official Final High School transcript for your records.
• Applicants who wish to apply for In-State Tuition will be required to provide documentation of lawful presence in the United States. A copy of a Georgia Driver’s License or Georgia Identification card issued after 2008 may be used. If documents do not support In-State Residency you will be required to submit proof of residency.
• If your high school GPA, SAT, ACT or Accuplacer scores are not high enough for your program, the Academic Advisor, will reach out to you and set up a testing date and time with you. Students must have “program ready” scores to attend each program.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov if seeking federal and state financial assistance. (STC school code is 005618). If you wish to apply for State financial aid ONLY you may complete the Georgia application at www.GAFutures.org. Once submitted it usually takes about two – three weeks to get into our system. Summer semester you need to submit the 2021-2022 FAFSA, for the Fall semester you need to submit the 2022-2023 FAFSA. Do this step ASAP!
• Once all documents have been received, the Academic Advisor can send a Letter of Early Acceptance to you and your high school counselor along with your Class Schedule.
